SIA Voka was founded on September 16, 1994 and is the oldest full-cycle construction company of grain pre-processing complexes in Latvia. In addition to this line of business, the company has been manufacturing metal load-bearing building structures for 10 years and continues to develop production. Voka Steel is a hallmark of the metal structure manufacturing line of business.

The production of metal structures began in 2015 at the production facility in Birzmaļi, Lībagi parish, and mainly structures for grain pre-processing complexes were produced in small volumes.

In 2022, the production was moved to Celtnieku Street 27, Talsi, which allowed Birzmaļi to install a paint shop in its production premises, thereby significantly increasing production volumes and quality. Currently, the company produces approximately 1,500 tons of finished products per year.

Along with the new production premises, the company gained access to a machine shop equipped with CNC metalworking equipment, hardening furnaces, and gear manufacturing, etc. metalworking equipment for the production of mechanical engineering parts.

In 2024, the production of laser-cut and bent parts was launched in Birzmaļi using modern computer-controlled machine tools.
